Raised in Boston

Boston is known for their sports bars and pubs. To add to Boston’s pub culture, Delaware North’s Patina Restaurant Group created a sports bar experience embracing Boston’s evolving food culture and love for sports.

The pub has two spaces: Banners Kitchen & Tap which features a super sized digital screen and Blades & Boards which has a stylish speakeasy inspired bar.

Role: Creative Direction

Note, all the work here was a collaborative effort. Although, I have rolled up my sleeves to work on designs and concepts. This would not have been possible without the help of all the talented people in my department as well as the architects and other creative teams.

Branding

Walking into the bar, tones of sand, cream, onyx and teal are prevalent. The colors give the space a warm and welcoming vibe where you might run into a good friend.

These colors are found from the uniforms, chinaware, bags, coasters, and menus.

Surprises around the corner

The bar is not just a bar. Surprises are to be found at each corner of the bar. Cozy vignettes, a virtual golf room, and multiple bathrooms are to be found.
